If you've driven by our offices on Chad Drive across the street from Costco in Eugene, you may have noticed some changes recently...
Not only did we get the whole building repainted, we're also having local muralist, Bayne Gardner add his unique style to our facade!
In case you didn't know, we are Imagination International, inc., an importer, distributor, and marketer of the finest creative supplies from across the globe. Our technology division, ImagiLux, manufactures high quality LED lighting systems that serve the needs of architects, designers, sign companies, movie studios, and more. You've probably seen our LEDs on the lamp posts in downtown Eugene!
Imagination International, Inc. was founded in 1998 to develop a children’s educational software called Alphaplanet. In 1999 we became the exclusive North American distributor of Copic markers and we’ve been growing ever since. What started as a 2-person operation in the spare bedroom of a house is now an industry leader with over 50 employees.
Here at iii, we care about our customers, our community, and the Arts. That is why we are dedicated to being an active member of the Eugene/Springfield community through our various arts and educational outreach programs.
Here are some of the projects we're currently working on...
We've got a lot going on in the local Eugene/Springfield community. We've also partnered with Bayne Gardner for our Imagination Mural Project, where we send him to local schools and youth organizations and he helps the kids paint murals!
In addition to the mural work, Bayne is also helping us fix up this bus donated by the Lane Transit District. In partnership with River Road Parks & Rec, we're turning it into the Art Bus! The Art Bus will be a mobile art studio that travels around Lane County bringing art to local kids. Stay tuned for more updates as this project develops!
Not all of our artwork is so permanent; we also sponsored the Springfield Art & Chalk Festival, put on by the Eugene Springfield Art Project in downtown Springfield. This year's event also included a Plien Air competition!
At Imagination International, children's arts education means a lot to us. That's why we're proud to offer our Creatures of Amalthea online creature design curriculum free to students and teachers world wide! Recently we brought the program to the Jordan Schnitzer Museum at the University of Oregon for their Summer Art Camp!
